Menu Plan Monday



well back to the menu planning! I am still on WW but I haven't figured out the points yet on any of my meals. I am trying a new recipe from a great magazine my secret sister gave me. I will let you know how it is


Monday- we ate at a birthday party

Tuesday- BBQ chicken in the crock pot, mashed potatoes, rolls, and corn

Wednesday- Mexican lasagna, salad, bread- this is my new recipe I got from my magazine

Thursday- Spaghetti, Caesar salad, and french bread

Friday- shredded beef sandwiches, w/ salsa, chili beans and pasta salad

Saturday- hopefully we will go out on a date!

Sunday- day before MOPS so leftovers!

Menu Plan Monday


well another week already! I have pretty much fallen off the WW bandwagon, and trying to claw my way back on! I am not going to list points this week mainly because I am tired tonight, i had very little sleep the night before and I need to go to bed. my Liz is art camp, and we will be somewhat busy so I need to plan some easy meals, we are leaving next Sunday for 5 days, so I do need a leftover night for sure! so here goes and it may change depending on what i see at the grocery store


Monday- My birthday I am not cooking!

Tuesday- baked potatoes, with chili, and cheese

Wednesday- ground beef enchiladas, salads

Thursday- spaghetti and rolls and veggie

Friday- leftovers

Saturday- Liz is home her choice!

Menu Plan Monday


wow another week already? where does the time go.... I am excited to try some new recipes this week, hopefully the family is as excited as me, doubtful....


Dinners-

tacos- ground beef (4), tortillas (2), cheese (3), lettuce, tomatoes, rice (2.5) - total points- 11.5

Parmesan chicken breast- chicken (7), mashed potatoes 1/2 cup (2), asparagus (o)- total points -9

linguine w/ shrimp scampi- linguine 1 cup (4), shrimp 8 (2), butter (3) , salad (0)- total points-9

BBQ tri-tip- beef 3 ounces (5), salad (0), baked potatoes (2), butter (3), sour cream (2)- total points- 12

one night out for Johnathan's birthday

Lunches-

sandwich- turkey(1), bread (2), cheese (3), veggies and dip (2)- 8 total

leftover- points vary

salad- (0), cheese (1.5), ham (1), eggs (2)-4.5 total


breakfast's-

eggs 2 (4), tortilla (3), salsa (0)-7 total

English muffin (2), butter (1.5), jelly (0)- 3.5

Menu Plan Monday


Well last weeks menu went great so I am going to post the same way. I like being able to say what sounds good? oh OK I want this! so I am going to post it that way from now on. WW is going great, it is really easy if I plan ahead. I look at my list in the morning and then depending on the point value of dinner I pick higher/ lower point value meals for breakfast and lunch. I am repeating a night because we never had it last week.


Breakfasts-

cantaloupe 1/2 (2) grapes 1 cup (1)- 3 pts. total

2 eggs (4) , English muffin (2) , butter (1), sf jelly (0)- 7 pts. total

cheerios 1 cup (2) milk 2/3 c. (2), 1 tbls. sugar (1)- 5 points total


Lunches-

pastrami (3), bread (4), pickle spear (0), mustard- 7 points total

salad- lots of veggies, 2 tbls. of ff dressing (0)- o points

bean burrito- beans (3), tortilla (3), 1/2 ounce cheese (1.5)- 7.5 points total

leftovers- points vary


Dinner-

ribs 2 (4), red potatoes 2 (2) w/ green beans (0), w/ bacon (1), butter (2), bread (2), salad (o-)- 11 total points

left over spaghetti - pasta 1 cup (4), meat (3), sauce (2), salad (0), bread 1 slice (2), butter (1)- 12 points total

BLT's- bacon 3 slices (4), bread (4), cheese (2), no mayo, mustard (0), lettuce, tomato (0), cantaloupe and watermelon 1cup (1)- 11 points total

chicken fajitas- chicken 3 ounces (2), peppers,onions, jalapenos (1), tortilla (3), beans 1/2 cup (3), sour cream 1 tbls. (1)- 10

ice cream- our mops group is having moms night out so this will be dinner- i tried to figure out my favorite ice cream sundae came out to 12-14 points depending on the nuts, i will eat about 2/3 of it, I think i will still count the points the same though to be on the safe side

birthday dinner- Friday is my 4 year old's birthday so he will pic what we have or if we eat here oh go grab something

Menu Plan Monday


This week I am trying something a little different, with being so busy running the kids to swim and t-ball I am going to plan out my meals but just list them all then decide what day I will cook them according to the morning, I need some more flexibility in my menu and i think this will help! also I am going to list ideas for breakfasts and lunches and there points:


Breakfasts-

granola (3) w/ yogurt (4)- 7

2 pancakes (2) w/syrup (2)- 4

frosted flakes 1 1/2 cups (4) milk 1cup (3)-7

2 eggs (4), toast (2), butter (1) jelly (1)- 8


lunches-

turkey sandwich- bread (2), turkey (1), cheese (2), mustard,tomato, lettuce serve with cottage cheese (2)- 7

salad- lots of veggies, salad dressing (o)- hard boiled egg (2), and cheese (3), and turkey/ham (1) - 6

leftovers- points vary


dinners-

spaghetti w/ meat sauce- pasta (4) meat (3), sauce (2), salad (0), bread (2)- total 11


ribs, red potatoes, and green beans- 2 ribs (4), red potatoes 2 (2), green beans (0) w/ bacon (1), butter (2)- total 9


bean burritos- beans (2), cheese (6), veggies (0), tortillas 2 (4)-total 12


turkey wraps and fruit- tortilla (2), turkey (1),crm.cheese (1), cheese (3), veggies (0), Mandarin oranges (1), apple (1), banana (2)- 11

Menu Plan Monday


This week I will be starting weight watchers on Tuesday so I may tweak my menu a little. we also have t-ball on 2 nights and a swim meet on another night, throw in the 4Th of July and we will be gone a lot! so I am going with some quick and easy meals for the week. wanna see what others are cookin visit Laura's site!


Monday- chili dogs, tater tots- oh yeah the kids favorite at least it is homemade chili right?

Tuesday- first day of WW we re going to have grilled chicken salads, and fresh pineapple, watermelon, and cantaloupe

Wednesday- 4Th of July! cookout at a church my hubby is helping BBQ at

Thursday- swim meet- turkey wraps, veggies and dip

Friday-t-ball- slow cooker green chicken enchiladas, pot beans, and salad

Saturday- BBQ tri tip, grilled corn, roasted potatoes

Sunday- spaghetti and meatballs- I wonder what the points will be on this meal???

Menu Plan Monday


So this my first full week of cooking since Jake has been born so I am doing a quick and easy menu, and hopefully it all will be yummy! I am trying a new recipe but it is a crock pot one so that is always good!



Monday- tacos and beans

Tuesday- 40 clove garlic chicken, rice pilaf, salad- (this is my new recipe) if I knew how to highlight it with the recipe I would :)

Wednesday-leftovers (having my tooth pulled)

Thursday- steak fajita burritos

Friday- date night w/ or w/out the kids not sure yet

Saturday- Chile Verde quesadillas

Sunday- BBQ ribs, party potatoes, salad

has it been almost a week since I posted? I guess so. here is the menu for this week:
Monday- tacos/ burritos (never made them last week)
Tuesday- leftover or breakfast
Wednesday- green enchiladas, rice, salad
Thursday- Cajun chicken salad
Friday- spaghetti, french bread
Saturday-???? probably a bbq
Sunday- mothers day not sure but I am not cooking it

Wednesday- new recipes- lime herb chicken, cheesy garlic bread, grilled veggies

Friday- family worship night at Liz's school

Menu Plan Monday


Well it is a new week already..... I spent sometime planning my menu out for the next month I am really excited. I came up with A list of meals that i know i want to make in the next month, i included a few new ones which will excite my incredibly adventurous loves to try new thing husband (that is a total lie he would eat the same 7 things over and over) This is a good month for me to do this because we will be out of town for 3 days, John will be gone another weekend, and it is a short month. I normally do my bigger shopping in the middle of the month due to how we get paid so it works out great.
the only thing I am worried about is I think I will add in a day where I go to the store 1 time in the middle for some fresh produce and milk. I am excited, if anyone does this and wants to give me some tips I would love it.
so this week:
Monday- tacos, and nachos
Tuesday- leftover night!
Wednesday- shredded beef sandwiches, chili beans, salad, salsa
Thursday- pampered chef party
Friday- pizza party for John's deacon team
Saturday- lasagna, french bread, salad
Sunday- Chile Verde, pot beans, rice (I never made this last week)
