I have been featured

better after

oh my gosh i am so excited! i was featured today on one of my FAVORITE blogs Better After. When i saw the email from Lindsey (which by the way is my best friends name and she spells it the same way, not that has anything to do with anything) i was SO excited. i have been reading her blog for a while and have SOOOOO many of the ideas in the site saved for when i come across some great items at the thrift store or Craigslist.

If this is your first time visiting welcome, i hope that you come back often. i have some great projects coming up that i am wanting to do.

We have lived in our home for a year and a half and we bought it as a foreclosure and it needed a TON of work.

we lived without a kitchen for about the first 10 weeks we lived here because that was the first thing we knocked out, it is hard to have no kitchen for that long with 4 young kids let me tell you.

Our living room has taken much longer to finish (i just finished it last week HA!) but i am so proud of it, mainly because it was all done with cash. it was worth the wait knowing that the couch we are sitting on is paid for already and in full.

actually every project we do is in cash we don't believe we are going to put things in credit to get them done if we cant afford it we may not need it yet. So we have had to come up with some imaginative ways to decorate and finish things. it is still a work in progress!

here are the two posts that i was featured with:

kitchen

formal living room

the things i will be soon showing on my blog is the master bedroom makeover, my boys room,  hopefully in the next few months our back patio, my closet. then some fun decorating projects too. so come back often or just subscribe or follow me to make it easier.

thanks!!!!
