why do people think it is their right to ask me "so is this the last baby" i don't know why it bugs me but it does. what i want to say is "i don't remember asking you to pay my bills or babysit for me so don't worry about. " but to be nice i usually say "maybe" grrr is it just me or is that rude!??? i mean we don't have 18 kids like the Duggars and it is not like we are driving 2 cars to get our family to church so i don't get it. is it really ok to ask people questions like that?
now don't get me wrong if you are a good friend or family i don't mind it but a acquaintances just not right in my book.
I think that's wrong to ask no matter who you are!!!! That's no one's business but your's and John's. For sure. Have as many babies as you darn well please....I'll just sit here and be jealous! :)

ReplyDeleteI HATE those questions...doesn't it just make you want to tell them, "no, I plan on overpopulating the planet!" Ugh...some people! Hope Jake starts feeling better...I am watching Sophie, she has a cold, but no cough or anything. We'll see!
ReplyDeleteI sorta like it when people ask me if I'm going to have any more and I say, "maybe" and they look so surprised. I love having "lots" (not by true large family standards, but by our cultural standards) of kids and I think it's funny when people don't get it. ;-)
ReplyDeleteRaquel- I totally feel your pain! I am so tired of that question. I never want people to think, if I do have another, that it was not wanted or planned for for. As all babies are a gift from God and precious! Blessings for you and your family!
ReplyDeleteI get those kind of questions all the time to. People can be really rude, sometimes I think they are clueless about how they sound. I usually just say something obnoxious like, "Oh no, we are not nearly done, we are planning on at least a dozen". That usually shuts um up. lol
