last week i had to miss church because Jake was STILL sick! finally everyone is feeling better this week and i was hopeful we would be able to make it today. yesterday Liz said her ear hurt but she wasn't complaining too much we went about our day and by the evening she was crying that it hurt "reallllllllllllllllly bad" so her and i got in Johns truck and headed on down to the urgent care, turns out she has a ear infection/ "reallllllllllly" bad swimmers ear. they put some drops in that kind of numbed it and she said the pain was all gone. so this morning it is hurting again. needless to say we stayed home from Church. i went and dropped off her prescription so hopefully she will be back to her self in no time
*note to self buy some better ear plugs for swimming!
i hate to miss church and the Lord reminded me it is only a season that the kids are young and to just enjoy the time at home with them on a Sunday with no where to go... so we are having a Christmas movie marathon we are watching home alone, Elf, Christmas with the Kranks, and Deck the Halls. should be a fun day~!!!!!!!

Aahh--the stay home from church bit. That's what WE were doing. With the boys having strep, I didn't want to risk infecting other people, even though they've been on antibiotics. I'm working on making thank you cards for Reed's party and Rusten watched Kung Fu Panda for the 1239248724698764 time.
