my favorite time of the year! I love setting goals and starting the year off fresh. I think it is good to set goals I read this today in the message bible and I think this is fitting to the time of year!

Philippians 3:13-15 (The Message)
Focused on the Goal
12-14I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.
15-16So let's keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you'll see it yet! Now that we're on the right track, let's stay on it.

so these are the goals for 2008

family:
start doing devotionals more consistently with the kids not just prayer time.
go on a vacation- that the kids want to go on
continue to try to be more active outdoors

marriage:
date night at least once a month
go out of town at least once
make John snacks/ lunches/breakfast at least once a week to encourage healthier eating

personal:
set up a prayer journal
spend more time in the word!
to prepare more healthy meals for my family

MOPS
continue the 2nd half as strong as the first
to show Christ to the ladies in our group
to be a better leader, be ahead of the game not procrastinating!
